My twins wake every night around this time, crying and screaming, so DH gets them and gives them a bottle. I know they are still young (15 months actual, 13 adjusted) but come on!! When are they gonna actually STTN and cut this nonsense out?? It especially drives me nuts since we also have the new tiny one and it seems whenever I hand her off to DH to have a few moments to myself, an older one cries. They are in separate rooms so they don't wake eachother, they just both wake up sometime between 9-11ish.
There was a brief respite from this when we brought the baby home because I think they stopped waking while I was in the hospital since we weren't home to get them but then they both had terrible teething spells and have been waking at this time again even though the teething pain has stopped for now.
This is getting seriously old!!!!!!!
Re: I'm gonna pull my hair out!!!!!!!

Have you tried reducing the amount of milk they get in their bottle. Maybe reduce it over the span of a week or so. Sounds to me like they are conditioned to wake at that hour, but they really don't need a night-time feeding at that age.
You also might consider sleep training . .. allowing them to cry it out a bit. I don't know how you feel about that, but it is an option.

Oops. Lol, didn't think about that :P on the plus side though it sure didn't take me long to get her back to sleep
They do go back down well, it is just an annoying interruption.
We definitely do CIO at other times and have tried it at this time, too, but this is the only time they wake up crying hysterically! And if you leave them, they get worse.
We have tried reducing the amount, I do agree they are conditioned. I want DH to stop the bottle giving but he gets sick of hearing them and just wants to deal with them so they will be quiet. And I can't say much because the twins have become his duty in the evening, ever since 3rd tri when I was told to stop lifting them and going up/down stairs a lot. So I figure, if he is the one that has to deal with them then he should do whatever he wants (to an extent)

Aw I know its tough but I think its important to know that alot of the toddlers on this board dont sttn. My ds doesnt. He is anemic and needs all the nutrients he can get so we dont mind his 1-2 wakings. I think at 13mo its normal to still be waking for a bottle and if they go down easy just try to take turns with your dh. I know its hard with a new lo, that would be tough! But doesnt mean they dont need you any less. GL mama, hope you get some rest!
