So what do you use

for your meat when grocery shopping?  You know the plastic meat bags that are available so your meat does not drip/leak juice and blood everywhere, what can I use instead of those plastic baggies so I don't ruin my good grocery bags?  TIA!

Re: So what do you use

  • You may think I'm disgusting, but I don't use anything.  I've never really had meat leak in any significant way.  I do keep it away from fruits/veggies that we eat without cooking/peeling, but that's as far as I really go to separate it.

  • We don't use anything either and grocery bags are washable.

Ditto.  I throw my reusable grocery bags in the wash every other month or so and I always wash all my fruits/veggies before eating so it's not a big concern for me.
