I don't know if you saw my updates before but I wanted to let you know I followed some of those things you told me to do for my lining!  Took a baby aspirin one day, the next day I took 2 baby aspirins, used the heating pad also.  I also took a brisk 30min walk 2 days in a row before triggering to hopefully increase blood flow down there.  And overnight it went from 5.7mm to 7.6mm - and on that day we triggered!  Thought I'd share since I know you knew how it felt to be so frustrated with it!

Yes I read your updates!!! I was away for thanksgiving and was on my iphone and for some reason it doesnt let me type responses. Stupid phone! I was SO HAPPY that your lining went up to a 7.6!!! That is awesome chica!

This cycle my lining was a 10.6 on the day we triggered. I think it was because we switched to Tamoxifen. That is supposed to help the thicken the lining (although I did still do the aspirin, org, heating pad). If this cycle doesnt work maybe you can talk to your RE about trying something different like tamoxifen. Even though I had 1 follie vs the 3 on clomid, it still produced a much better lining. I think we are both similiar in that clomid thins us out WAY too much

All is good with me. Had our first IVF appt yesterday and it is so overwhelming. Ugh, so much to think about =(

Tamoxifen must be like Femara then? I have definitely told the nurse that if this cycle doesn't work, NO clomid next cycle and let's try Femara before injects.  We're 100% oop so Femara's $260 vs injects of $1-3k, that's a no brainer for me.  But ANYTHING to avoid the crappy lining issue is A-ok with me.  I just hope it was clomid that caused the lining issue and not some inherent lining problem that I have irrespective of clomid.  =(

Great to hear that your lining as 10.6 at trigger - that is amazing. I couldn't have even dreamed of lining that thick this cycle.  lol.  Meant to ask, do you continue to take the baby aspirin even after the iui?  Or just up until the iui?  I think I took it the day of, but haven't since.

And I feel you on the ivf thing.  I've discussed with my husband and although financially it makes sense to try 3 to 4 iuis if that's what it takes, I don't know that I'm willing to pay for injectible cycle iuis.  If that's the case, we are ok with moving straight to ivf from a femara/iui cycle.  The thought of putting down $15-20k in cash though really stings.

Let's hope this is all moot though and that this is our month!  GL babe!

Yes, I think Tamoxifen is like Femera. I have heard some great things about Femera too and how it thickens your lining. Dont panic about your lining. I did and my RE said it most likely was just the clomid. I think if you had a lining problem it would barely go up anything and you jumped quite a bit to 7.6! I def think it will be better next cycle. If you get your period also try the POM juice. I did that CD1-14 so maybe that helped me too!

 This cycle I took the baby aspirin CD4-CD12. I wanted to wait till my period was over then started after. When I went in on CD12 I was a 7.8 so I took 2 more and by CD16 I was a 10.6. My IUI was Monday, CD18, so we are in the 2ww.

IVF is super scary on all different levels. For us, my RE doesnt like to do many cycles with injectables. He doesnt like the risk of OHSS and doesnt like the risk of 2+ babies. Plus we were only given an 8% chance of the IUI's working so both DH and I thought it was a waste of time.

What CD are you? I think Im about 2 days behind you.

I'm not going to do the POM anymore, I didn't like it very much and it didn't seem to help my case! lol

My iui was Saturday, so I am now 4dpiui.  Exciting!  

Did your RE says 8% chance w/iui with injects?  That doesn't seem very high.  And I totally agree, in that case, waste of time.  Again, let's hope we don't have to worry about that!

oh - I'm holding a champagne glass in my siggy!    RE says no alcohol, exercise, or sex during 2ww so although I'd love a glass of some champs right now, it's a no go.  Boo.

I hear ya on the POM. It is NASTY!!! haha. I usually do half pom and half water. But if it didnt seem to work then I agree you shouldnt do it. It is N-A-S-T-Y!!!

Yea my RE says that my % with injects is only about a 15%. At our last appt my RE thinks we could have a fertilization or implantation problem. The IVF would work for the ferilization part and the debate of the 1vs 2 embies continues if it is a implantation problem. Its is all so confusing.

I love me some champagne. Im with ya!!! Im glad that I have a cycle buddy. My beta is on 12/13 so Im hoping we dont even have to do this IVF route. Im crossing my fingers for you lady!!!
