Boy or Girl Poll.

So I know that we all want healthy babies and the sex really is just secondary to health. I've always said that I do not care one way or the other. Expecially with our little scare in the beginning. I am just so grateful to have a baby. BUT if you do have a little feeling deep down inside on what you would prefer which is it? (even though you would be happy either way, of course). Just curious on what the majority would want or if it would be pretty even.

I've always said that if I could pick I'd have a boy first, but I have a gut feeling it's a girl.  There hasn't been a girl in DHs family in 14 years (and there hasn't been a kid in mine in 18 years so I'm not even considering that)... eventually someone has to have a girl, right?!

My sister has a boy (who I love to pieces!) and he is the only grandchild so far.  My mom goes on and on about how she wants a girl.  So I guess that has influenced me - I know mimi will be thrilled either way but I would love to give her a little girl!  Plus it is more fun shopping for a girl - if it is a girl I already have the bedding picked out   If it is a boy I am on the lookout for something blue with puppies on it!

I voted girl, although for the first one I really don't care.  I'd just like to have a girl at some point.  We'd like 3 kids, and it would be nice to have the girl and then not worry about what the other ones are!  I'm only concerned about it because DH's family is all boys for SEVEN generations, so the cards are stacked against me.

With all that said, if I end up with 3 boys (or we don't end up being able to have 3 kids), I will be over the moon and in love with all 3 (or 2 or 1) I am sure.

I want a girl just to make sure I actually get one, but i told my fiance if we have all boys, we will keep trying until i have 1 girl - even if it takes 6 kids!

my mom had a dream that i had all boys until #7.  by going by the OWT (acne, cravings, fast HR), i think i may have a chance for a girl

This is going to sound absolutely ridiculous, honestly I don't care I just want them to be healthy; But I want at least one girl so I can buy those super super cute flower and bow headbands I keep seeing

DH and I only want 2 kids. I'd love one of each. We have our little boy, so it would be great to have a little girl too!

I voted girl. Although somedays I want it to be a boy. But we have a son, I always wanted my first born to be a boy...it happened. Now I just need a girl I need someone to do girly things with. I told DH I'd have up to 4 trying for a girl. But somedays I think it would be fun to have 2 boys and then a girl. I love boys they are really a lot of fun. But sports and cars and all that 24/7 gets old.

I want 2 kids - one of each.  Since this is the first, I honestly don't care which it is.  

That being said, if we have 2 of the same, or can only have one, I'll still be happy.

I go back and forth daily on which one I "want" (obviously the word want isn't the right choice since I WANT any baby I can have!).  I had a dream it was a girl but my gut feeling is boy...I'll find out on Junuary 3rd!!

I am all about having an only child, so I'm hoping its a girl. I was the one and only and my mom and I have the best bond ever. However, I know having a boy means less worry, less money, less attitude!

I totally agree with you! Those headbands with the flowers are so adorable. This is our first so I really don?t care what we have but I do think it?s easier to buy all the cute clothes for the girls and to decorate the nursery! I have so many ideas for a girl! But the Hubby is hoping for a boy! Either which way as long as it?s healthy we are so excited to have a baby boy or girl!

I already have one of each, so really it doesn't matter.  But, I would really like another girl.  Partly because our only two cousins so far are boys, and partly because my daughter has just been so much fun, so lively, and so sweet.  Honestly, the other reason is because we lost a baby girl this summer, and I would like another shot. 

All that said though. . .I have a feeling it's a boy!

I really really truly do not care.  We plan to have more children (God willing) and I would like to have at least one of each, but since this is our first, I really don't have a preference.  I mean, it would be convenient to have a boy first, because my SIL has 1-year-old boy and hand-me-downs would work nicely, but it really doesn't matter to me either way.

Plus, I know that my mom would spoil her to pieces  lol  And my MIL always wanted a little girl too (she had two boys)

But, now that my husband and I have been talking names... Im super excited about our boy name...I love the girl name...but the boy name with my dad name as a mn makes me sooo excited to use.

LOL thats a silly reason to want a boy more at this point. But either way Ill be super excited... I just REALLY WANT TO KNOW!
