Saline?

DD has a cold and it is for the most part managable with the humidifier running except when she wants to eat. So I was wondering about trying saline solution to help clear her sinuses so she could would eat without a lot of trouble, but I'm not sure how to administer it. How do you guys administer saline solution?

    I got this stuff at Target in the baby section called Simply Saline. Its a mist spray. DD actually likes it.

    I use the baby ayer saline drops, they bascally just drip out when you turn the bottle upside down.  I do it before diaper change while he is laying flat,

    My doctor told me to use saline drops and then suction it out with the aspirator.  My DD hates it but it really helps.
