I switched dr at 28 weeks and my previous dr was already doing cervical checks. My current dr hasn't even mentioned them, but I assume they'll start around 36 weeks.
Mine start at my next appointment (I'll be 34w4d). I'm not sure if I'm having regular ones after that. The midwife said I won't but I thought the OB said I will so I'll clarify when I go in.
Well I'm 34 wks & I was supposed to have an appointment today but it got canceled b/c my doc hurt his back, I'll be 35 weeks next week @ my appointment soo I wonder if he'll start that??
at my next appt, which is 36 weeks. However, I did have one last week because I was having some contractions & not feeling like myself, so she just wanted to check out the situation real quick.
I started having them done at 36 weeks when pregnant with my DD. I have no clue what my midwife usually does but plan on asking her on Thursday at my next appt. I want to avoid internals for as long as possible. I walked around 1cm dilated for 5 weeks and it got so frustrating to go in and not have any progress made. I'd rather just not know.

Gotta get waxed this weekend!
At 36 weeks I'll have one when my doc does the GBS test, but then won't have anymore until I'm in late labor.
There's no reason to have cervical checks unless you have signs of preterm labor.
Went to the doctor today, they said 36 weeks!
