Anyone know where I can find knitted stockings for cheap? I was going to get plain stockings from pottery barn, but I think I like the knitted better...
Oh, and PB has some, but I don't want to spend $40...I think that's outrageous...
If you can wait approximately 30 years until I am retired and have the time to figure out how to read the pattern I bought this year, I will make you some
I love the knit stockings too..I hope you get some good leads

I need to avoid this thread. I just spent stupid money on the PBKids Fair Isle ones and I felt like a jackass for it.
Have you tried Etsy yet?
Sorry, I don't know of anywhere local to get them other than a few boutiques and the ones there are more expensive than PBK.
We have these from Target ($10 each) with a little silver monogram pin. But I have a friend who had someone monogram hers... if you know someone with a machine you could do this really inexpensively:
Make sure you buy an extra 1 or 2 for future kids if you think you might have more b/c you won't be able to get them again next year.
Ooooh I like these too.
I just looked on Etsy and I think this might actually be the exact stocking I have had since I was born though I am quite sure in 1982 it was not $35.
