Vanilla Soothies?

Has anyone used the vanilla scented Soothie pacifiers? The idea weirded me out at first, but I think I might be coming around to the idea of the calming vanilla scent. My daughter does seem to respond well to the scent of lavender, so it could work?

Have any of you used these? What did you think?

They use them in a lot of NICUs and can really only be purchased at medical supply sites... I guess they aren't very common outside hospital!

We received a vanilla soothie from the hospital when we had our DD.  For whatever reason, she still likes that one better than any other!  We have not seen them in stores.

I had a feeling this would be a favorite for babies who've tried them!

Do you know what's in them? The only reservations I have are the possible chemicals they use to make them scented.

My son LOVES his vanilla gum drop pacifier it is BY FAR his favrorite . We get them from gumdroppacifiers.com . They are the same ones they hand out at the hospital . We tried regular ones with no luck , I would get them lol .

Our NICU used them with the babies. DD seemed to like it. We brought it home with us but haven't used it too much mainly b/c she doesn't get too fussy.

Oh yea! I saw some of those on amazon.com. Okay, I'm going to order some. Doesn't hurt to try!
