XP: Heartbeat on home doppler!

I posted this over on 1st tri, but thought some of you might be interested in seeing the video. FYI, my doppler is a Sonoline fetal doppler.

I am now able to consistently find the heartbeat on the Sonoline.  It only takes a few minutes to find and it's loud and clear now.  I'm 10w 2d, and I won't hear it at the doctor for a couple weeks, so this is such a relief.  Here's the link to the video.

Aloe gel (the green stuff you put on sunburns) works very well and is a lot cheaper than the fancy gel. Just an option

Awesome!! I got mine yesterday, it was so exciting to hear the hb. Of course later when I tried to find it for Dh I couldn't!!

Do you use the gel?

Yes.  It comes with a tiny packet that's good for about 2 or 3 uses.  I also bought a bigger bottle on Amazon for about 5 bucks.

They actually had a tube of the gel for about $3 when I bought mine from Amazon.

when was the first time you heard it?  i tried to listen again today and all I could hear was my own hb.  do you have to push down under the pelvis a bit to find it?  is it in the middle or on the side for you?

I first heard it briefly about a week ago, but I was not able to hear to consistently until yesterday. Last week I had to push the wand pretty far behind my pelvic bone. Last night it was right in the center about 4 inches below my belly button.
