When, in your cycle, do you start testing?

Do you continue to take them even after you get the positive?  Will it show negative once you've actually ovulated?

Does it really matter when you take the test (AM or PM)?  Do you test more than 1x/day?

Bonus Question - how many DPO do you test?

When, in your cycle, do you start testing? I O early in the cycle so I now start around day 8.

Do you continue to take them even after you get the positive?  Will it show negative once you've actually ovulated? I take them until I get a negative after a positive and can see the temp shift on FF.   An OPK doesn't confirm that you O'd-- only a temp shift can do that.  Some ladies get a positive but never actually O.  Something like you were all geared up to O but the rocket didn't get off the ground.

Does it really matter when you take the test (AM or PM)?  Do you test more than 1x/day? I test more than once a day when I can see the test line getting darker but isn't quite there yet.  My positives seem to come later in the day and not with FMU.  I have POAS 3 times a day as well as I think my surge is really short. Perhaps an addiction? haha

Bonus Question - how many DPO do you test? Test for a BFP?  I've tested as early as 9DPO.

I don't usually O till around day 20 or so, so I start opks around cd14.  As it starts to look a little darker I will test twice (sometimes 3) times a day - usually around 1 and 7.  This requires ALOT of opks- so I order mine off Amazon.

I stop testing opk after a positive (test line is as dark or darker than the control).  I have stopped using/wasting hpts as I despise seeing a blank white test area   HTH!

Do you continue to take them even after you get the positive?  Will it show negative once you've actually ovulated? Yes, I test until I get a negative. It can be neg and you may have not O'ed yet, that is why it's important to take your temp to confirm O.

Does it really matter when you take the test (AM or PM)?  Do you test more than 1x/day? Yes, Am is not as good as LH rises in the afternoon. I do one around 2pm, and then one before bed. Although I got a really darp positive at noon last cycle.

Bonus Question - how many DPO do you test? I tested at 10 DPO and then 12 DPO last cycle, but only because my LP is short (9-11 days). I have learned my lesson and will not test in the future until AF is really LATE.

Does it really matter when you take the test (AM or PM)?  Do you test more than 1x/day?  I always test right after I put DD to bed, around 6:30, just cause that is when I test.  I think you can do it more than once a day

Bonus Question - how many DPO do you test?I tested Sunday and got a negative   AF is due tomorrow and I am dying to use that last test, but doubt there is a point

When, in your cycle, do you start testing? I usually ovulate days 14-16, so I start around day 10/11 just to be safe and watch the lines get darker (note: they don't always get darker, some months it's light line, line line, super dark line, light line)

Do you continue to take them even after you get the positive?  Will it show negative once you've actually ovulated? I usually take them a day or 2 after a positive, until they start getting lighter again, and they do always get lighter.

Does it really matter when you take the test (AM or PM)?  Do you test more than 1x/day? I test at least 2xday as I get close (say starting around day 12). Usually once mid-morning and once at night. I probably don't need to since my surge tends to last 24 hours+ so I'll catch it testing once a day - but I like to know the timing. Some people have short surges and having to test multiple times a day. Also: I test using cheapie strips, and when I think it's positive I will confirm with a more expensive digital to be sure (love those happy faces!).

Bonus Question - how many DPO do you test? Depends on the month and what tests I have in the house. If I have cheapie tests I'l start at 9DPO, if just FRERs I'll wait until day 12 or 13. It also depends on how optimistic I feel!
