Anyone have a LO change the amount they spit up?

For the first two weeks of his life he spit up very rarely, maybe once a day. Then all of a sudden he started spitting up more, almost after every feeding. Occasionally it was a larger amount but it usually was small and he was a 'happy spitter'. Because of stool issues we changed formula two more times, I think we might have the stool issues worked out (fingers crossed) but he still spits up! We are on the Enfamil Gentlease which is supposed to reduce gas. He is not a good burper but even if we burp him every 1-2 oz he still spits up a little. Does anyone else have a LO that did the same thing? He is still a 'happy spitter' and doesn't appear to be losing weight so I'm not too concerned about this - I just think it's weird that he all of a sudden changed.

DS spit up after most feedings for the first 6 months. It got really bad around 4-5 months, then tapered off around 6 months.
