Had my first hormone induced breakdown this am

I'm off work today and had a 10:00 vet appt. for my cats... I tried for 20 minutes to get them in their crate to take with me and OMG it was horrible.  I'd get one in and she'd be trying to lunge her way out, and then the other would run off.  I'd get her and take her to the crate and she'd hiss and try to get away from me.  Inevitably, as soon as I opened the crate the one in there would get out.  

I just broke down and started bawling.  I had to call the vet to cancel - DH is going to have to take them -I'm not doing that again.

I'm sorry! I had a complete non-pregnancy related break down last time I tried to take the cats to the vet by myself, and we have separate crates for them. Still, one clawed me so badly that after it healed my friends said it looked like a surgical scar.

I hope your DH has better luck!

I'm sorry! That sucks. Mine are so annoyed at going to the vet...that's stressful any time. I would feel good about not having a hormonal break down until now, though. I've been having them since like week four.
