My FIL is so hard to shop for! Everytime we ask what he needs/wants to C-mas, he says that he doesn't want anything and for us not to get anything.
It's not an option to not give him anything. We always want to give him a gift, but he's always the last one we cross off our list b/c it's near impossible to find something for him.
He truly is someone who wants or needs for nothing. He isn't into luxury stuff either. He's very outdoorsy and a handyman. We've already gotten him a pair of work gloves (weren't expensive) and we need another gift for him.
Any ideas?
Re: NBR. Gift Suggestions Needed.
Gift card to Lowes, Home Depot, Bass Pro Shops?
My dad's the same way, and for that reason, he's gotten way too many gift cards! But I figure it's better than nothing.
My dad is the same way! We do a lot of gift cards, but we've also been in a trend of buying a flashlight for him every year with batteries. Sounds odd, but he ALWAYS loses flashlights, so we just replenish it every year.
What about a gerber or leatherman? Its a multi-tool you wear on your belt or carry in your pocket:

My Grandfather has one he keeps in his pocket all the time.
forgot to add that his is fairly small--about the size of a pocket knife, so its convenient to carry.
