I'm a little nervous about tomorrow's appt. DH has been eagerly anticipating this day, lol. But, I'm worried about the episiotomy and how it healed =(
Aside from that, I can't believe it's been 6 weeks. Just today, Jose and I have been noticing how much bigger she's gotten. It seems like it just happened overnight!

First, yes, Elise has gotten sooo big! She's all fatty and yummy
Second, the PP appt. isn't bad at all. The "check-up" itself last all of like 30 seconds. I was worried it would hurt from the episiotomy but it didn't. Tennis, on the other hand still hurt like hell @ 8 weeks PP. The only other thing we did at that appt. was a talk about birth control. He reminded me to be VERY careful about 10x's Lol Gave me a prescription, played with the Bubbs for about 5-10 minutes and I was on my merry way.
Remember to bring a picture of Elise with you....for his "gameboard" (so he calls it)

Good luck! I hope everything has healed well. Elise is perfect and I can't believe 6 weeks have gone by already, either!
My PP visit was last week, and it really wasn't bad. We even played tennis and that, surprisingly, wasn't bad. I had a little bit of discomfort at what I think was the beginning spot of the episiotomy, but not as bad as I expected. It was nice to get back in the saddle.
The appt was verbatim what you described! It did hurt a little for me so we'll see how tennis goes. Maybe, I can put it off until the weekend at least so I can get started on my BCP first.
