because I didn't see a FFFC...
*We will be less than 2 miles from DB's house today for our gtg and I will not be calling him to see if he wants to see ds, let alone telling him that we were in his area at all!
*The pic of Haley's ds in her siggy kind of scares me with the carseat straps like they are....
Re: Sunday confessions....
There are a few people I am friends with on facebook who turned their children around at 1.
I am not perfect, with my 12 year old I did. But the information was not out there like it is today. Logan will not be turning around before 2 or longer. I also have yet to be able to move him out of the middle seat in the back. It kills my back and its hard, but I just can not bring myself to move him to the side.
Sorry if this offends anyone, It just really bothers me.
I am a freak about carseats, and I didn't see anything wrong with the straps. They are high in his chest, and seem tight enough. Am I missing something?
My confession...
I am making my own holiday cards of E, because its cheaper. I want my family to have a card (photo) of him, but I don't want to come out of the pocket to pay for all of the cards to get made.
I also have been dosing off at work today because I'm so tired from mine and E vacation that ended yesterday. We drove back last night from Ohio.
I actually have a confession:
I was in the mall w/ DD and I saw ex and his gf in bath and body works I grabbed DD's arm and rushed her past the window. Then I told her why and we snuck back to make sure it was them and it was but they still didn't see us and we ran away laughing b/c he lost all his hair in the back. All Friar Tuck like lost hair in the back.
I haven't seen him in well over a year and she hasn't seen him in over 4.
I worked Thursday night and Wal-Mart here started some of their Black Friday shopping at 12:01, so my employees though I went home on break and I really went to Wal-Mart and got some bargains
yes that is all I got
I love, love, love TJ's. One of the major reasons I moved to the neighborhood I did is because now I live around the corner from one. I do ALL of my grocery shopping there.
Even though everyone has told me not to buy any clothes for Boy because I'll get plenty and have lots of hand me downs from my nephews I went out and bought him 2 new outfits today ... both dinasour themed and so cute I can't stop admiring them! Did I mention how excited I am about having a boy???
Now I'm going to eat Reese's Pieces until until I'm ready to explode.
I am not a TV freak by any means. DS probably watches more than the average toddler, so it's not that. But I have a few FB friends who either have posted photos or status updates about how much their 8-9 month olds (or younger) love Nick Jr. or Sesame Street. I think it's totally ridiculous to sit an infant in front of the TV. I'm not saying every once in a while, but enough to say that they "love" it? I don't think it's possible for an infant to love TV.
I agree, in your situation it makes sense since she is hearing English by watching/listening to it. I know I am making a sweeping statement by saying that it is ridiculous so of course there are exceptions. I just feel like, when DS watches TV now at his age, he totally understands the story and answers the questions the characters ask, etc. It's just hard to imagine a baby getting anything out of it. Again, of course your situation is different and I'm sure she did get a lot out of hearing it.
Shocked face! But I guess sometimes you just need to get laid ...
I know these are flame free or whichever, but really? That sends such a mixed signal. Didn't you have this confession before too?
Flame Free Sweetie :-)
My 15-month old is just now getting to where she pays attention to the TV... It is a fight, though, because my mom and XH both keep the TVs on all day, and my 3yo would watch Blues Clues constantly if she could.
Yesterday we only had the TV on for a couple of hours - and instead of taking that for computer time, I sat and sang along with the girls. DD kept hugging me and saying "I love you Mommy". It was fun.
Yah, but seriously? It's called a rabbit. Buy some batteries and have at it.
This kind of makes me want to throw up.
Your right Achase, but I was going to say something, and thought to myself...its flame free! A rabbit is your best friend/boyfriend!
