? for those who use gas drops

How often do you use them?  I am pretty sure LO is having gas issues, mostly during night feedings, but it's starting up during the day too, and I wasn't sure how much was too much with those.  I know it says they can get up to 12 doses per day, but is anyone having to do that?  Just wanted some advice/opinions.  TIA.

They are perfectly safe to give, mylicon isn't absorbed by the body. My twins had them a lot throughout the day.

Sometimes I use them after every feeding. On the bottle it should tell you the maximum amount of times you can use it.. mine says no more than 12 times a day. She eats every 3-4 hours so you do the math!

I would give however often it directs on the bottle. If you are breastfeeding make sure that you aren't giving her gas, keep a log of what you are eating to see if that is bothering her.  If you are giving formula, try changing to soy.  that was remarkable for us!

I give it to Harper about every other bottle...put it right in so it's easy. Seems to help!

Just because it says 12 times doesnt mean its a good idea. Im a pediatric nurse and in the hospital we give it every four to six hours as needed. They dont need it every feed and my PMD said no more than every other feed, which I highly agree with. PS It doesnt work well anyways, LOL!
