Fitting GMs properly

I used some GM fitteds for the first time last night.  I used the inserts and rolled the front snaps down b/c DD doesn't need the higher rise yet.

The inserts come out the top when I do this however.  Is this OK? I was able to get everything into the Thirsties cover, but it just didn't look right.

Also, is it just me, or do the GMs double the weight of your baby!  Holy crap those things made her heavy! (without any pee in them!)

I just adjust it so that it doesn't stick out.

Yes, they made DD huge in the butt, and now DS too.
