I was talking with SIL this weekend about baby names. They'll be TTC soon, and she mentioned a name that I could have sworn I heard before, but can't find anywhere.
I've searched BTN and Google to no avail. I must be spelling it wrong.
She pronounced it kam-riss. I tried Camerice, Camriss, Kamerice, Kamris, and probably a few other spelling variations with no luck.
Is this a made up name, or does someone know what I'm doing wrong in searching for it?
Re: Is this a real name?
Well, she liked that she could use the NN Cammie, so probably not.
We'll see if she actually uses it when the time comes. She's not pregnant yet, and they're planning to start TTC in May. We'll see if it makes the cut when they start seriously discussing names.
I didn't think it was the worst when I heard it because I thought I'd heard it before. I started to cringe when even my poorest name site sources were coming up blank.
