At least not while pregnant. I saw it before and I cried at the end but I don't remember crying at every single moment! Like when she goes to the doctor while pregnant. Bawling. When the next door neighbor gets stabbed crying. And of course I will cry at the end.
To be fair I was also crying at some of the performances in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
Re: Movie PSA: Do not watch Marley and Me
For me, this is an appropriate message at any time. I bawled my eyes out when I read the book, and both times when I watched the movie. I have a feeling if I watched it while pregnant, I might need to be hospitalized for extreme emotional distress.
p.s. I have never even owed a dog in my life, but that story is just too touching!
I know!! I bawled like a baby both when I read the book and saw in the movie theater.
I have a 14 year old yellow lab and don't think I will ever be able to watch that movie again. It makes me too scared and sad.
Its so sad!!! You should see the whole movie when you are in an emotionally stable time. Or you are feeling like a good cry. Its really good but it is sad. They talk about real things like miscarriage and PPD and stuff like that.
Plus it has McSteamy. Yummo.

I have never been able to watch it. Sobbed like a baby when I read the book and then had to hug my dog for like hours. He was confused. I don't think I would survive the movie.
Also, never watch 8 Below....childrens movie my ass...I have never cried so hard from the beginning to the end of a movie and then continued to cry 2 hours after the movie was over before. I can't watch movies where dogs die!

I haven't watched the movie, but the book was terrible!
The m/c part was intense, and the ending was almost as bad. My dog will be 13 years old in January and I'm just dreading the day he dies.
