6 Month Appt.

He first went to his Physical Therapist appt at the hospital.  He has limited neck movement--he has a tendency to look in the right direction--and they said it was probably because of the reflux.  And they are trying to help him with his flat spot.  

And then we went to his pediatrician appointment.   

So drumroll . . he is 17 lbs 11.3 oz.  --so he is offiicially in Size 3 diapers. Grandma and Grandpa had (so cute Baby Pooh) Huggies Pure & Natural Size 3 diapers stocked up at their house.  And he is 25 inches.  Baby is getting bigger--we will need to get a Convertible car seat after Christmas.  

He has been drooling and coughing a lot the last couple of weeks.  The pediatrician said it was probably the drool or the reflux that was getting stuck in his throat.  She prescribed an inhaler to help him out.  

And pediatrician suggested that we do something about him being tongue tied.  So they are sending him to a specialist that is going to snip something under his tongue.  And it is supposed to help him with feeding, especially since he starting solids.  

They offered to give him the flu shot inside of Hep B shot--they will give him Hep B shot at 9 month appt.  He screamed Bloody Murder--he was really upset when they gave him his shots, but we had a bottle to give him, and he calmed down.

It sounds like he is doing well overall. I hope the reflux gets better, I hate it.  Hopefully fixing his tongue help his eating.  Bummer about the shots, they are never fun!
