Totally put the cart before the horse

I forgot that back in early Sept when we were first TTC (back when I thought this was going to be easy) I subscribed to Fit Pregnancy.  It arrived today.  I think I might give it to my pg SIL as part of her Christmas present.  Anyone else do anything to put the cart before the horse?

I would just save them and put them in the closet. Those are GREAT magazines, and I would keep them if I were you.

I have DH's "guess what, we're KU!" gift. I guess that's not TOO cart before the horse, but I've had it since almost the WEEK we decided we were going TTC

My SIL however, is more cart before the horse than I am, lol. She just had my nephew over the summer so every time I am at her house she reminds me that her maternity clothes are all in a bag "ready and waiting" for me, she gave me her book on hypno-birthing, as well as a sling they didn't end up using with my nephew. I am sure more things will be coming our way as he outgrows them, lol. He's getting close to outgrowing his infant car seat, so I wouldn't be shocked if that will be coming our way soon as well, lol.

Every month at work we get a big stack of Pregnancy magazine.  I never know why because we are a Urologist office.  Anyway, I always take one and put it away for when I'm pregnant. haha

haha-that's my long-haired Chihuahua, Teddy. He's a hoot! That pic was taken when he was only about 4 months old. He looks a little more like a dog and a little less like a Gremlin now that he's older.

I have almost a year of Pregnancy magazine.  I refuse to peek at them yet but I can't wait until I do.  You should keep yours for sure!

I subscribed to Pregnancy and Newborn about 3 months ago because I knew if I ordered it when I got pregnant I would be half way through the pregnancy before I got the magazine. I just got the first issue this month. I am reading them now. I will eventually get pregnant and want to know these things.

ALmost everything you all mentioned, I've contemplated doing/buying. This is why I love this board. It normalizes my sometimes "insanity" Thanks girls for everything!

I've already bought scrapbooks to make for both our parents when we're expecting. I also bought a bib the other day that I couldn't resist!

I now don't feel quite so bad about myself!
