Who has already put up their xmas tree?
I am SO tempted to but we ALWAYS did it the day after Thanksgiving in my family, so I intend to do that. This will be the first year we have a tree! We've always just skipped it due to having 3 cats and always traveling over the holidays, but we really want to decorate this year for the kids.
Re: OK ladies, fess up
umm no
I would like it to go up Friday but it most likely will not.

I totally would if it wasn't in storage (I need DH's help to get it out and he's on travel right now).
I'm going to try to convince him that it needs to go up on Sunday when we get back in town.

Mine is up with the lights on it. I caved last night. I think I need another string of lights though. So I'll probably go get those when L wakes up from her nap.
In my defense, we're leaving for Missouri the week before Christmas and the tree (my tree especially) is my favorite part.
Ornaments will go on tonight or maybe tomorrow after dinner.
Where in MO?
We'll be in Oregon (north of KC) before Christmas, driving across the state on Christmas to StL (Affton, Ballwin, and Eureka), then making a stop in Booneville to see more fam.
We're driving (1600 miles to Oregon) and taking all three dogs. Should be ridiculous.
Thankfully we'll be back for two weeks.

Ours stuff is going up Friday. B asked me if I wanted to start decorating on Monday and I declined. It's really funny - he used to HATE Christmas decorations. He saw them as an inconvenience, they weren't "needed' to celebrate, etc. But, now that the girls are here, he can't wait to decorate.
When S was born, well in Whoville they say, that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day.

We put ours up on Monday. It was actually a bit late for us but we were out of town at the ILs. In Canada, Thanksgiving is the third week in Oct, so there's no worry about 'disrespecting the turkey' or whathaveyou.
I also started listening to Christmas carols before Halloween, but I'm kind of sick like that....
