I've tried googling this but I cant figure how how to word it to get responses that are applicable to my question. I know dryer sheets are bad for CD's and I thought someone even said that you need to clean your dryer because the residue is on the dryer drum too, which can get on the CD's. So before I start using my new wool dryer balls I want to know if I should worry about cleaning the residue off. I'll be starting my CD adventure in April, so I have some time, but would like to start using the wool balls and nixing the dryer sheets asap.
Thanks!
Re: I used to use dryer sheets but want to CD
I found this website.. Hope it works..
https://www.howtocleanthings.com/how-to-clean-a-dryer.htm
This. I went to a CDing class last weekend and the woman running it said to either wipe the inside of the dryer down with vinegar or to wash/dry a load of towels to get the residue off.
HTH.
This! I have heard of people wiping down the inside of their dryer, but I have not done it and have not encountered any problems.
This. I've been CDing for 2 years.
