So I'm at 13.5 weeks and my breasts hurt 20x more than when I first became pregnant! I was out in the cold the other day and they hurt so bad I started crying and only found some relief by taking my bra off (yes...in public, and I so did not care lol) Does anyone know why this would be? Shouldn't the pain be subsiding? I've seen that milk ducts are forming around this time, could that be it? Sorry for so many questions, I just don't have any more patience today to keep googling for answers...bad day

Mine aren't quite that bad... but certain bras are worse than others. I've been rocking a nursing bra my friend gave me today, and so far so good. They're sore, and a today they also started itching too. Ergh. Should be interesting tomorrow at work, cause once theres an itch I have to scratch it, and all I can imagine is it happening while I'm talking to a client haha, hope that doesn't happen, or that I have at least enough self control to not scratch them immediately.
I don't really have a definitive answer for you... but I know that at 17 weeks I still have a lot of tenderness in my breast and specifically my nipples. DH can ABSOLUTELY not touch my nipples and he can only massage my breasts. It comes and goes and sometimes its fine and sometimes its not. Today I was driving and I must have had a chill or something b/c my nipples got so hard that they started to hurt and I had to cup my hands over them to warm them up!
I'm 15w1d, and my boobs FINALLY stopped hurting last week. Still aware of them, but no itching, not terrible preggers ache. Ya'll are making me worried that it's going to come back!
I actually went to get a larger size the other day... just to try them on at home and have to go back to get a even bigger size... I am scared! lmao...
mine didn't really hurt in the beginning, but now they feel so heavy and achey and my nipples are really sensitive in a bad way. I just took a shower, and we have a "wall of water" type thing...i had to adjust all the nozzles away because the water really hurt.

I went and got a fitting and bought a new, very expensive bra this weekend and it just feels too tight. It's like they thought I wanted to look like a pin-up girl. I'm a 38 DD and my only goal at this point is to keep them from moving around a lot when I walk, etc. I don't need "lift" or anything like that.
I'm thinking about getting a really light support bra for sleeping. Sometimes when I move from my back to my side or vice versa, the position change causes MEGA pain. I thought the sensitivity was supposed to be less by now but that's just not the case for me!
(P.S. I didn't have m/s so I'll take sore boobs anyday!)

It's mostly my nipples too when they get cold. DH got mad at me for rubbing them to warm them up in the car in rush hour today lmao! He said people are going to think you're a perv! And I told him I really don't care!
I've heard they make inserts for bras too for the nipples...has anyone tried anything like that?

I've always had a large chest, i had just lost 70 lbs and went down from a D to a C, got pregnant and by week 8 i was back to a D again. My nipples were hard for an entire month. I asked the nurse at one point, but she said it was normal and due to the hormones.
My husband seemed to enjoy it at least even if most of the time I vowed to break his fingers if he touched them because they were so sore.
I've moved on to the darkening color of the nipples, and they actually are soft from time to time now, so i think my hormones are finally starting to level off.
At least i live in Florida where cold is a whopping 64 degrees, so i can't comment on what the cold weather does.
I use the cotton under wire t-shirt bras from Lane Bryant/Cacique. They're expensive, but comfortable and hold you up without killing your back.
Mine are terribly painful when they are cold. I have gotten to the point that I have to sit with the blow dryer on them to warm them up. Hubby just looks and laughs but it really is a new kind of pain. I hope that it end soon for both of us.
