Frustrated with Maternity Jeans

I have been looking for a pair to bookmark and see if they are on sale BF / CM.  I cannot find a single pair I like.  I am so glad I have a pair from last time, but I could really use another since last time a lot of my wardrobe consisted of work clothes.

I want a  panel free pair of jeans that are cute and have at least a 34" (preferably 35") inseam.  How hard is that?  blah

Re: Frustrated with Maternity Jeans

  • I hear ya!  I remember avoiding them as much as possible. I only had one pair that I liked and they were from Gap.

  • I had a pair of Lucky Brand maternity jeans from Macy's that fit those requirements.  They don't carry maternity wear online but you might find them in-store on BF for a deal. I've also heard that some 7 jeans are also 35" inseam and no panel.

  • my favorite pair were 7's. but they did have a full panel that i rolled down. i got no panel jeans at gap.com. i am 5'9 and i liked that i could get them in long. had three or four pairs. have you tried gap?

For anything designer or cute that is pretty impossible. I had a lot of trouble finding anything outside of the good store that went out of business whose name I can't remember. They had all designer maternity  jeans, it was great.

I would try Old Navy. They might not be the cutest but their Long length is 34'' and the new Tall is 36''. I think they do the special sizes in maternity online. Gap will, too.

    I tried them already :o(

The ones they had without a panel had weird elastic triangles on the sides lol

Yea I have Paige jeans from last time and they are awesome, but now they only seem to have a panel.

For some reason ON and Gap don't really have anything boo

Yeah, I just looked, too and the selection is dismal. The Gap only had jeggings in no panel and Old Navy has non-jeggings but they don't have true no panel anymore, just the "low panel".... so strange! Even when I was pg with Evelyn they had them. Sorry!

  • Have you tried websites like bumpbargains, mamabargains?  My mom just sent me an adorable Maternal America dress that she got on Gilt Group and I just joined a site called Rue La La (not sure if they'll have maternity clothes or not).  I don't know if you need invites to join the last two - if you are interested, let me know and I'll send you an invite.

J Brand from Nordstrom?   I have two pairs from Motherhood that have no panel.  I don't find them that comfy... but maybe you could find them there?

  • do you have any higher-end child/maternity resale shops? we have one that carries 7, paige, etc. you might have luck doing something like that. gap's selection is truly disappointing!
  • My 7s didn't have a panel and had long inseams.  Check eBay.  I picked mine up there, NWTs!, for Less than $80 a pair.

Yea, all the newer ones do its weird.

Anyway I just got a NWTs Habitual pair for $74.  I have them in a different size and let's just say they don't label their sizes very well lol  So I am trying to sell those.
