We talked to DH's family about it over a month ago and everyone seemed really on board with it - we were pleasantly surprised by the positive responses!
DH talked to his sister tonight and said "I think I figured out what I'm going to make mom!" and she said "Me too! A Keurig!" Poor DH is wondering how she is possibly going to make that
So yeah... we're a little bummed. She'll probably be really enamored with it for a month or two and then it will be one more gadget taking up space in her kitchen. MIL said she really wanted handmade gifts - told people what she'd like them to make her even!
But... that's how the holidays go in this family... I'm sure it's just the beginning of the end!

It's an individual coffee maker that uses these little single cups. They are overpriced in my opinion and don't seem very EF to me but many people LOVE them! This is just the basic model: https://www.amazon.com/Keurig-B-40-Gourmet-Single-Cup-Home-Brewing/dp/B000AQPMHA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1290485008&sr=8-1
Satreece, thats such a bummer! I hope that you're able to ignore her and just move forward with your plans! Hopefully others will follow suit :-) Your gifts will be much more meaningful.
