ETA: My goal is to make a library bag... just realized I didn't say that in the first place!
I have 2 yards of this Celebrate Suess fabric and 3 yards of the orange strap stuff (good thing I know all the technical terms, huh?). I was thinking I could make a regular old bag with boxed corners, but I was wondering if anyone had any other, more "fantastical" ideas? So.... what do you think?
Re: PIP: Anyone want to help me find a pattern/tutorial?
I was thinking just like a kid-sized tote, but I'm down for whatever (so long as it uses what I've got... I just really like the look of that fabric with the orange stuff!)!

This is the library bag I made for #1 (I don't even think I was fancy enough for boxed corners, lol.
And this is the part I love...a slot made to hold his library card:
Btw, I absolutely LOVE the idea of using the Seuss fabric for a library bag! I'm trying to come up with ways to use it and thinking of matching pj's for the boys for xmas. Not sure what else though.

Laura- Do you know the approximate dimensions of that bag and length of the straps? It looks like what I'm going for, but I have no clue what size it's supposed to be.
Also, if you don't mind, I'm planning to steal your library card pocket idea....
I am so excited to have found that fabric! IRL, too! I've only seen it online, but I found the whole collection at Mary Jo's today! Score! My dad started giving Noah Dr. Suess books when he was born and is slowly building the entire collection so I thought it was appropriate (and really cute!).
While I'm rambling, have you ever heard of Mary Jo's? 32,000 sq feet of fabric... droooooooooooool! You should come visit to go there!
