I want one that I can put on top of the sheet that will absorb the accident. I found one at target that says it holds up to 6 cups!! but it's only online. I want one for this week if possible.
Anyone know where I can get one in store? Im going to search BRU now.

did you get the $20 one? The one my friend has, they don't sell anymore. I found it online and it's $30
And I want it for Thursday... way to plan, huh?
I have some PUL and fleece and flannel. I was thinking I may just use a towl or two between PUL and fleece/flannel and quilt it. My mom just said if I can't get to it before Thursday, she'll serge it and quilt it for me on Friday when I go to her house. I may just 'not get to it' on purpose so she can do it nicer than I can! Would you use fleece or flannel for the top layer? Any other suggestion for the inner?

flannel, toweling, PUL. Quilt the top 2 layers together, then sew the PUL just around the edge. If you quilt through it, I think it would leak.
you could also try fleece instead of PUL, but in a big accident it may not hold up as well.
Honestly, I think we paid even more for the twin size...like 40 or maybe even 50. (Mine goes underneath the sheet though and takes place of the mattress pad/protector) I remember wanting to throw up in my mouth a little bit about the price but I didn't want a gross piece of just plastic that would be all crunchy or something that would end up leaking through. This one has done the trick!
I hope you're able to find a better alternative though!
