Everyone answer--- pictures of your children in your bedroom?

Do you have pictures of your children in your bedroom?

I don't remember whether it was on here or somewhere else, that someone wrote that they don't because they try to keep their bedroom about them (to help with intimacy).  This implied that pictures of kiddos in the bedroom = less sexy time.

I voted SS.  I have a few shots from our family pictures in there framed but not hung up yet.  Im the worlds worst at hanging pictures.  :(  Seems there is always something else to do and Im always forgetting about them.

I dont feel that having them in there is going to do anything to take away from the sexy time.  Im not staring at the walls before or during sex.

  • seriously? someone can't get it on if they have a picture of their kid in their room? how do they think their kids got there in the first place?! LOL

  • Not just in my bedroom, but in my BED! LOL! Oh, and we have plenty of sex in that very same bed.

    This makes me giggle.

I guess it is the same theory as having a TV in your bedroom.

I'm with you.  I don't have pictures in there, but it is more because I never hang them up!

I can't remember where I read this.  I know I did.  Maybe it was a news article or something.

I am just curious.  We all know how accurate nest polls are.  ;)

  • I have a 16x20 of my sig pic hanging above my nightstand, but that's only b/c all the other good spots in thehouse were taken with either decor pieces or pics of the kids.  I have a lot of pics of them, but they're just all so good.  It won't look as much when I have a bigger house, and the one in our room will look great above a baby grand piano that I envision in a small room off the foyer.  Note the word 'envision'.  It'll probably end up in the stairwell.

I do have some smaller framed ones of the kids on our dresser.  chris/Natalie and blaire/Natalie and blaire in her newborn pic.

  • Nope. My kids rule the rest of my house, I like having one room that is just about me. Now, of course there are random toys and socks and clothes and books in there, so maybe I should just suck it up and put in some pictures too LOL

  • Yep.  Although, only of L.  I only have 2 framed pictures of M right now, and they are both in the living room.  But I have no issues with pictures of my kids in my bedroom.

  • I thought that rule only applied to pics of YOUR parents.

  • I voted no, but I don't have pictures of anyone in my bedroom.
