how long can diapers stay dirty?

I'm flying home to NY Wednesday night and flying home on Sunday. I have plenty of diapers and can plop the poop out but I won't be able to wash them.

I'm worried about the stench.  What do you guys think?

I know there are people on here who are fine going that long with diapers.  Me, I've been totally freaked out by tales of maggots and mushrooms growing in diaper pails.  I won't go more than every three days between washes (so wash on Monday, then on Thursday), and that even makes me nervous.  So if I were in your case and I couldn't wash, I'd use disposables. 

But I'm probably paranoid.
