Mother's rings and necklaces question..please help.

Hi ladies.

My sister and I would like to get our mom a special birthday present next month for her 75th birthday.  We are going to get her a mother's day necklace with stones representing each of us, but the question I have is what order would put the stones.  Neither one of us know. 

Would you do it this way

My mom (if room put my dad even though he is deceased??  or is that odd)

Myself, then my sister, my DH, my sister's DH, my neice 

or 

my mom (if room put my dad)

myself, my DH, my sister, her DH and my neice.

I would put your mom, dad, then who is the oldest, their dh, then second child, their dh and then the neice after your sisters dh.

 I think its important to keep the dad on the necklace IMO.

Thanks..that is the order my sister and I thought would look the best but we weren't completely sure.
