We're looking for a name with double letters and we're tossing around Harrison for a boy. We'd probably call him Harry. Is Harry fine or does it lend itself to teasing too easily?
Oh I think you should just use Harrison. I love-love that name. My husband has a 7 year old cousin with this name, and his parents thought everyone would end up calling him Harry. Didn't happen though! Surprisingly everyone stuck with Harrison. Great name choice by the way!!!
DH and I love the name Harrison, but we tossed it because of the worry over the nn Harry. Can't stand it. I would use Harris, Henry or even Hank but never Harry.

Love the name Harrison. I don't mind the NN Harry- I always think of Prince Harry and I don't think it sounds bad on him. I think I may like the NN Harris better though.
I love this name. I also don't adore the nn Harry, but Prince Harry and Harry Potter have definitely upped its cool factor the past few years. I think you could definitely make it known you prefer Harrison or Harris.
