I can't get DS to eat our dinners. He just pokes the food and then throws it to the dog. The only finger food I can get him to eat is fruit, crackers, bread, Cheerios, puffs, cheese, and yogurt drops. He won't eat frozen veggies. He refuses meats unless they're pureed. The only time he's ever eaten any of our regular dinners is the night we had mac n cheese! Any tips?

Re: Switching to Table Foods
Keep offering it. It may be a while before he wants it completely, but the more you offer, the more likely he will be to eat it. I still have a lot of the same problem with the frozen veggies with my toddler, so I have to "disguise" his veggies in other things (spaghetti sauce, meatloaf, etc). Thankfully, I haven't had that problem with Elijah. He eats everything.
Generally speaking, however, the more he sees you eating it and the more you offer it, the quicker he will eat it.
Our DS is the same way. He could live on bread alone! We just keep offering it to him and every once in awhile he surprises us! He enjoys purees so if we have to stay on that a little longer, it's fine with us.

You are not alone.......my DS won't eat table food either. He won't even eat some stage 3 purees if they are too thick. I think its a texture thing. I just keep offering different foods to him in hopes one day he will surprise me. He does love the gerber puffs though:) Good Luck and keep trying!
