Aww RE: Yesterdays Dr. Phil & My Mom

My mom just called me and "had to say a few things". She watched yesterdays episode and I guess saw a bit of herself in both of the moms that were featured and wanted to apologize for anything that she might have done in the past and that it was never about me but about her and the things she was going through at the time.

She's so sweet. 

I've never held anything against her, she was a young single mother dealing with a lot of crap and I ended up just fine but I know she holds a lot of guilt about how she should have done things different.

Thats very big of her. And if you had felt anything towards her - this would have provided some validation. I think thats very sweet and shows people still grow as a person even when they get older.

Yesterdays episode was REALLY hard to watch. I know I went and hugged DS exta tight after watching.

That was very nice of your mom. It shows how much she loves you because she might not have always been able to show it being a single mom.
