I've been a little slack on the laundry front so I didn't have any clean Milk Maids this morning. I'm wearing my Bravado pads. 9:30am and I've already leaked through my shirt. Awesomeness.
i agree. the only ones that worked for me were Medela disposable pads (i think...maybe lansinoh? they're in a purple box) and milk maids...and with the Medela ones, i had to make sure i changed them every time i pumped or i'd leak.
i scored 3 pairs of MM yesterday- now i have to find my original pairs from when Noah was still nursing. How many do you have and how often do you have to launder them?
I have 8 pair and I try to wash every other day to make sure I always have clean spares. Laundry this week has been a disaster though. This morning I had no clean Milk Maids, 1 clean bib for L (she goes through about three a day), and 1 clean sock for S. No idea where the other sock may be. So S wore a dress with tights, I got crappy nursing pads, and B is handling laundry so that L won't drool her self to death today. Mother of the Year, right here.
You all had clean clothes to wear today sounds like you are doing just fine. All this means is you need more milk maids, socks, and bibs
lol - This is true. I called my mom this morning to tell her to put socks & bibs on the girls' Christmas lists. Maybe I need to put Milk Maids on mine, too!
By some fluke accident, I ended up with 6 pairs of milk maids. Some were seconds, and I was rushing to try to snatch some up and there were glitches while I was adding to my cart...
Yep. I have the Nuk reusable (I don't leak a LOT but I do leak) and this morning the left side of my shirt was soaked. Ew. Like I don't smell like milk all the time already right?
Agreed. I used disposables a couple of times and it was like wearing a maxipad in my bra. No thank you.
100% this. I only have 6 pairs but DS has enough white stuff they get washed often enough.
I dint even bother waiting to whites. I toss them in withwhatever is washing except for cleaning rags. I have a few pair of Knickernappies pads and I can only wear those around the house because I'm sure to leak if I don't change relatively often. MM are the only way to go.
Re: Nursing pads that aren't Milk Maids suck.

I have 9 pair and have run out a couple of times. I just need to do laundry more frequently.
If running out of bibs and socks is what it takes to be mother of the year, I must be mother of the century! ;P
lol - At least we all had clean underwear & diapers, right?

Amen to that, sister!

Turns out 6 pairs was the perfect number!
