They went fine. Great even. ?They love her to death and said she's about a year ahead of the rest of the kids in most areas, but she works so slowly and is so meticulous and anal about everything that they're keeping her where she is. ?On the rare occasion she finishes anything, they give her extra things to do if she's bored. ?So, as usual, I basically worried for nothing. ?Thank you all for already knowing that LOL
But. ?The little turd lied about the other kids. ?We asked them if she'd had some problems the past few days and they said she did have an off day Monday, but she didn't cry or anything when she fell, NO kids made fun of her or laughed. ?DD told us that yesterday the same thing happened, AND said today as well. ?So we asked her about it & she finally fessed up that she liked the extra attention she got for having a bad day.
Had a big talk about how she almost got another little girl in trouble (she named names), bla bla bla.
So. ?Should I make her tell her teacher anything? ?I'm thinking I'll just tell the teacher quickly that there is no issue & she made it up and be done with it for now, but I'm wondering if Sam should fess up or something? ?WWYD?
Re: grr. Conferences
So glad that you were worried for nothing.
And OMG, she and my niece could be BFFs. And take over the world probably. LOL
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
Yay for a good conference! Glad she's doing well.
I think I'd let it go....let the teacher know, but let it go with Sam, unless it happens again. And when she tells you she had a good day, lay it on thick.
Yeah for good conferences!
You found her out in the lie, she fessed up to you, I think you're good. I wouldn't bother telling the teacher unless it happens again and/or you need their help to fix it.
Awesome! I would probably let the teacher know just so the other child does not get in trouble.
Glad you were worrying for nothing.
