Pity party, anyone want to join me?

Today I learned that my assistant is expecting after trying for one month!

I didn't believe her so I went home at lunch and grabbed a digital and made her pee on it! I guess my pessimistic outlook just doesn't believe that it can be that easy! But for her, it clearly was! 

I am happy for her, but just sad for me, and really wish in a selfish way that I wouldn't have to see her "glow" for the next eight months.

On top of that, I am coming down with a cold. I just can't catch a break this month. Here's hoping December is better!

    This.  ((HUGS))  My SIL is PG, it took them 2 months.  I am definitely jealous.  It makes things so much more difficult.  I should probably look into throwing her a shower, but the thought of a shower at this time is just too hard for me.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    I will join the pity party! I was supposed to have my HSG today but they forgot to tell us we couldn't have sex from the start of my period until after the test. I called to pre-register yesterday and they asked about it and so we had to cancel and we'll try again next month. Yesterday I was a mess. I felt like we were getting close to having answers and now I have to wait another month... There is a big pity party going on over here!

    {{{hugs}}} to you and I will join in your party :)  A friend of mine also got a BFP the first month of trying - that was a few months ago now but it still blows my mind.  I also got invitations to two baby showers in the mail today.  They are both Dec 12th and one of them is for my 19 year old unwed niece.  Nice.  Ugghhhh.

    So sorry hun.  Thats awful.  I'll join the party my SIL and her b/f of a few months are pg.  I was happy for her because she's in her late 30's but in some sick way I was hoping it was going to be a little difficult for them.  They were going to start trying in a few months.  Oopsie I guess it happened a littler sooner.  ugh.

    IVF #1: 4-11-11= Transferred 1 beautiful blastocyst I named "Nugget"

    Hey, I'll join too. I'm not really sure how I'm feeling...its more of a passive aggressive, numb feeling. I'm really ready for 2011 as all my hopes and dreams for 2010 have been dashed.

    I can't believe Thanksgiving is a week away and Christmas a little over a month. I know I should be thankful for a lot of things, but I get so sad thinking this is the second holiday season we've been trying with no pregnancy or baby to show for.

    I'm so sorry...and I'm right there with you!!  2 pg announcements by friends this week - one of them was their first month trying...This was also the week that I started clomid for the first time - dealing with the reality of actually starting treatment was more than enough to deal with, let alone adding those 2 annoucements to my week!!

     Here's hoping that December will be your month!!

    Can I join?  If this hasn't been a rough enough day/couple of days.  I decided to talk to DH about adoption.  We talked about it once before and since he is adopted he was all for it.  I turned into a HUGE fight.  I needed DH more than anything today.  I wanted to share all the things about what is on my mind and now I sit her alone.  He told me he didn't want to talk anymore, he is tired and his body aches.  He said he just does not biitch about it every 5 seconds like I do.  Sorry DH that I biitched about all the crap I was feeling going through treatments and when AF arrived.  IF has beaten me down and now I don't even have DH to turn to.

    Maybe he is just really upset too and doesn't know how to show it/share it/deal with it? I really hope he comes around soon and comforts you since that is what you need right now.

    Thanks for throwing this little party today.  I really needed the reminder that I wasn't the only one going through this.  Sure, it has happened to me a half dozen or so times over the past few years with friends and family, but I just got news of my little sister's BFP.  Meanwhile I got a BFN this morning.

    I agree - men are horrible at expressing emotions so I'm sure that's all it is.  Big, big hugs to you.  You know we are here for you to vent to anytime!!

    Hi ladies, I've been lurking and I just had to join in the pity party. Both of my SILs became pg last year (one accidentally) and have beautiful babies now. I LOVE my niece and nephew, but they're both constant reminders that I should have a child that's older than either of them. Now one of my SILs just announced she's pg AGAIN and my in-laws are cancelling the tropical family vacation they were going to take all of us on since she won't be able to go. So I don't get a baby and I don't get a vacation...how is this fair? 

    Wait, here's my favorite part. When my SIL told me she's pg, she said that I should just make DH stop drinking soda because that's what worked for them after they tried for three months. Are you kidding me? You're trying to give me advice? Ahhh!
