Memberships - Costco or Sam's?

FWIW - I HATE Wal-Mart & know that it's a very close relative to Sam's.  So, I'm thinking of Costco.

I'm getting it mainly for business purposes... But the Costco is slightly more expensive for the yearly membership.  WWYD?

I like costco, but we get gas at ours since its also the cheapest place to fill up.

I like Costco; it's more home-oriented.  If you're looking for business, Sam's is probably better.  Our Sam's Club has gas, too.

Definitely Costco. Even more so since sam's is owned by walmart.

I have both (work pays for Sam's) and I like Costco better.  Although I have to say that Sam's has a much better movie selection.

I am another Costco person, probably because I am anti-Walmart, thus anti-Sams.

If you go to the front desk they should allow a one day pass. Plenty of business stuff at our costco and gas lol

I'm always jealous when I hear of people's Costco finds!  Sam's has nothing organic and hardly anything remotely EF...like Walmart :-(

ditto costco. ours now has an organic option for everything but fresh produce. even baby clothes! and their return policy is amazing. and yes, you can get a day pass.

We've had both and we prefer CostCo.  The employers (at ours at least) are much happier and better paid, which is nice.  We like the selection better, too.  There are many more organic options (though not as many as I'd like).

Oh, yea!  Their return policy is AWESOME!  And their baby clothes selection is pretty good, too. 

One thing to check out, though, are the store hours at both CostCo and Sam's in your area.  Our CostCo has really limiting hours.  We still prefer it despite this inconvenience, but do take note!

Costco all the way.. Some Costcos have a lot of EF and organic items (although the one closest to us doesn't have much).  If you're talking about business office supplies Costco should have all you need. They also have the most amazing hassle free return policy.   To me Sams = big warehouse Walmart. The only way I'd conider a Sams membership over Costco is if you need restaurant supply items.

Not sure if you can use coupons at Costco but you CAN NOT use them at Sam's Club
