Shower Pics + Our Gender Reveal

First things first, our gender was a secret until the shower. We did the reveal with the filling of the cupcakes we had for dessert. But since I didn't want any family to stumble across it here, I had to keep quiet until now. We are officially joining Team BLUE

Since the gift opening table was not centered, my two youngest nieces walked the gifts up and down the aisle so everyone could see. It was their consolation prize for me not making them a girl cousin

What you can't see in this pic is that I am wearing some awesome high heeled black, knee high pointy boots. My feet surprisingly really didn't hurt until the very end of the shower. The dress is just a 3/4 sleeve, knee length poly-cotton dress from ON.

The announcement cupcakes- which doubled as our cps- so there was a cake stand and then between 8-10 cupcakes on each table. Turned out pretty cute!

It was a breakfast shower per my request. 1. I love love love breakfast. 2. I wanted something early in the day so people had a good portion of their Saturdays left to enjoy. Nothing worse to me than getting up and having like an hour or 2 to do something with and then spending the middle of the day at a shower. We were pretty much done by 12:30p.

So, that's it for now. The only thing really missing is our favors/placecards. They were cinnamon sugar almonds in cellophane packages with a name card that matched the invites. (We actually had a bunch of invites left over, so we chopped off the tops, printed people's names on them, punched a hole and tied a ribbon through them and around the bag- super cute!)
