Guess the foot rest on the couch is up until dh gets home

He is out of town for work until friday.  I popped the foot rest last night while on the couch and could not push it down.  Im very sore down there.  Thought I would take a bath then try this morning nope still to sore to get the stupid thing down.  I also tried to get my 3 year old to get it down no luck.  Guess its up until he comes home.  I cant get off the floor once im down there so cant even get on the floor to push it down.

My husband wanted to look at like 20 recliners / gliders for me the other day at Sears. But every time I sat in one, he had to lift me out.

We didnt buy one. I figure I should at least be able to remove my own self from a chair.

I know how you feel. I can't put my foot rest down anymore either because of my sciatic nerve pain so DH does it for me.
