He had jury duty today and got picked for a trial for the rest of the week. At first I got upset with him for not telling them there was no way he could be there tomorrow, but he said that other people were asking to be recused for super serious reasons, like that they were convicted felons, and he felt stupid saying he had to go to his wife's ultrasound.
This is our first child and I'm really sad that he won't be able to see the baby or if (god forbid) we get some kind of bad news, then he won't be there (I already got my blood drawn a few weeks ago so they should be able to give us all info tomorrow). I realize that some of your husbands can't come to stuff for way more important reasons, like deployment, so I feel bad complaining, but it seems so dumb that something like jury duty is the reason he won't be there.
Please tell me this is just the hormones talking and I need to lighten up!
