12 Day Follie check was today-good & bad news...

Good news I have 3 big follies at 23, 24 & 19, and two small ones. My uterine lining was also good at 9.2. This is all on Femarra.

 

Bad news is that there is fluid in my uterus. My doctor was actually "fascinated" with what he saw and said he has never seen fluid like mine before. It seems to be originating from my csections car (ihave a 4 yr old) and flows down like a river and back up. We are going ahead with trigger tonight and iui on wednesday. However, if this doesn't work, my doctor will most likely want to do an operation to repair the scar in my uterus he said.

 

I guess the bright side is that maybe we found the cause of my infertility (we've been trying for 2 years now). I am just so scared though of having to go through an operation.

 

Has anyone ever heard of a situation like mine? My doctor was so shocked by it and even mentioned that he is going to report it. (not sure what that means though...to a medical journal??)

 

This has been so emotionally draining!

I've never heard of such a thing, either.  At least you both know what you are dealing with.  I hope your IUI is successful!
