I'd really like to make some ornaments to give to family as gifts this year. I was thinking maybe something with LO's handprint or footprint. Here's the issue - I'm VERY non-crafty. I can't sew. I can glue gun though! Any ideas for me??
DH did a handprint ornament with DS of a reindeer. Brown cut out for the body, eye, red nose and collar (with bell), black hooves and pipe cleaner antlers. They came out fairly cute for a kids ornament - all glued together.

I'm doing this with J. We did one hand this morning. It went way better than I expected. (Since he's only 3 months, I didn't know how well it would go.)
I am handprinting him on white cardstock. (One hand is red, the other green.) Then I'll draw a heart around his hands. I'll take a piece of a cereal box that's slightly larger than the heart handprint and cover it in wrapping paper. I'll glue the handprint heart to one side. On the back I'll glue plain cardstock on which I'll write "I love Grandma and Grandpa" (or whoever) and the year.
I'll punch holes in top corners to add a ribbon so it can be hung on the tree.
