Has anyone gone through this with their LO? DS was sleeping really well (STTN 10+ hours), but then we moved into a new house and he started a new daycare. I guess his little world was turned upside down! He now goes down for the night without a problem, but wakes up crying 2-3 times. We can rock him back to sleep, but the second we put him down, he wakes up. Is this a passing phase because of all the changes? Will we need to do some sleep training to break him of this habit?
Re: Separation Anxiety in Middle of Night
My DS is just starting to kind of do this. Not every night, but when he does he just cries and cries. Doesn't help he is also cutting a new tooth. I did some reading on sleep training and the best thing we should do is just leave them in the crib, comfort them by touching their bellies or back and calming them that way. Crying will ensue but it's supposed to get better! We have tried it a few times with little success. Good luck to you!
