So, I've noticed that when my boobs leak, two distinctly different kinds of fluids come out.
Some holes leak a slightly cloudy but mostly clear fluid, others leak a yellowish white fluid. Weird, right? Why isn't the same thing coming out everywhere??
Re: how odd - leakage...
this
Not everyone leaks and it doesn't mean you will or won't be able to breastfeed. Only one of mine leaks.
Not at all. I've asked around to a lot of moms I know IRL and none of them leaked before the baby was born.
In fact, some of them avoided leaking almost completely, even after the baby was born.

Dont we just leak from the center of the nipple?
I started leaking yesterday at night, it was very exiting!!!
First time mom
Yeah, some people leak and some don't. No worries! I, unfortunately, do. I cut a cheap pantiliner in half and put each half in the bra. Classy, huh?
Side note: when I first realized I could get fluid out of the nips, I called to DH to "Come here and watch this!" and his response? "I didn't know there were multiple ports!"

There isn't just one there are several ducts so many holes in which to let the milk out.
