Hi everyone! I've finally decided to join the boards after several weeks of lurking. My name is Megan, I'm 28 yo and this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I had just started TTC and it happened right away, so I was somewhat caught off guard. I'm definitely not as knowledgeable about all the pregnancy stuff as some of you all, but I'm trying to learn quickly. (Any advice you have is welcome!)
While it was somewhat easy for us to conceive, I am considered "high risk" due to my hypothyroid (was diagnosed and have been treated for several years) and Factor V Lieden. Needless to say, I've been super paranoid about something bad happening therefore have tried to hold back a little bit of my excitement. We have an u/s on Thursday, which will hopefully put my mind as ease.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you!!
Re: Hi Everyone!
Congrats and welcome to the board!!
Good luck with the u/s on Thursday, I am also high-risk so if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them for you. There's also a high risk board that's a great resource!
Hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months!!
Congrats and welcome! So happy for you! I think you'll find that most of us here are paranoid, worried, and concerned at some point, and we all countdown until our u/s and doc appointments. (Thursday for me as well.) You're in good company.
H&H 9 to you! Glad you're here.
