Estrogen and ovulation question

I recently had a hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue, followed by a uterine stent and estrogen therapy to rebuild my lining.  I still have about 9 more days of estrogen, and then 7 days of estrogen plus provera left to go.  I have to TTA this month, so pregnancy is not a concern here, but my temps indicate that I ovulated 3 days ago.  Is it possible to ovulate when taking estrogen therapy?  And, if I did in fact ovulate 3 days ago, I should have my period before starting the Provera.  Do you think my RE will still have me take it?
