We currently have an Envoy and test drove a few Dodge Caravans today and really liked them but I think we're going to hold off as long as we can because the Envoy will be paid off (no car payments again - yay!!) with our tax return.
It'll definitely be a tight fit getting (3) LO's in across the back, but do-able for now. We also love the Acadia/Enclave 3rd row (bucket seat) option but again, price is just a wee much at this point.
Re: 3+ Moms - what do you drive?
i have a dodge caravan and really love it - the auto open doors are key!!
DH drives a ford Escape and has 3 seats across in the back - you have to install them with the seatbelts (using the latch system pulls them towards the middle and wastes space so you can't put 3 seats across the back)... install with seatbelts is just as safe- just harder to do - but works with 3 across.... We could never use his car as our main car though - it barely fits the stroller in the back- can't fit much else in there... so it's rare we go anywhere as a family in his car.
And hatch! I have DD, another LO coming and a large dog so we've always needed large cars. I love the sh!t out of my van. Also, entertainment system = best roadtrips ever.
If you can get a sales guy to swing you a good deal get the vinyl package- so much easier to clean up baby and pet messes than I ever imagined!
Same here!
DH drives an F150 with all three across. We haven't switched DS2 to a convertible...we will have to see how that works...
