We didn't find out with Max. I am undecided as to whether we find out with this one, but I am leaning towards yes. In case this is our last I want to have both experiences.
What y'all doin'?

Re: Are you going to find out the gender?
I want to find out.
I'm not big into "gender neutral" clothing, crib bedding, etc. Plus, I am just waay too impatient to wait!
I haven't decided. We found out with DD, but I kind of want to wait this time. DH would like to find out again. I really can't decide.
The major stuff we bought for DD was neutral and we didn't get bedding last time (personally I think it's a waste of money). We just got a breathable, pink bumper and sheets. New baby will be in the pack & play in our room for a few months so there's no rush on a new bumper if it's a boy.
So to answer your question...I have no idea! Ask me again in February!

We're gonna try not to find out. I think it's a little anti-climactic to know the gender and name of a baby before he/she is born.
Plus - this is a dumb reason
- my hubby's brother and his wife had a baby almost a year ago whom they knew was going to be a boy. My MIL threw a big shower for them, and they got everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, with the Ohio State logo on it! I don't want that!! I would rather get gender neutral, not-themed stuff that we can use for all of our children, then buy a few special gender-specific things after the baby is born.
Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.
I'm the exact opposite.
I'd rather not find out and I like gender neutral decor, clothes, etc. However...MH wants to find out so that's probably what we'll do.

Here We Go Again!!
Honestly... best moment of my life! There was about 8 extra people in our room because the nurses love when you don't know. They all screamed "IT'S A BOY!" I am sure the entire hospital heard. It was amazing!
You would never know I hadn't found out beforehand. We picked Winnie the Pooh for the nursery so as far as decor went it didn't matter. And our families and friends brought us TONS of clothes when he was born. They live in sleepers the first 3 months.
My whole life I always said I didnt want to know until the birth.... now that I'm preg I'm dying to know! We'll see what we decide at 20 wks...
We are still doing the nursery gender neutral mainly because we'll be moving in a few years and I'd kind of like to keep the house in "sellable" condition then paint some bright color then be rushing to change when I have toddler(s) running around. Once we know (before or after) we can always add the girly or boyish touches...
I can't believe I want to know when I swore forever I didn't!!

We might change our minds, but so far I think we'll find out. DH says he doesn't like surprises and I think knowing the gender will help him bond with the baby in utero.
We can't really do much with the walls of the nursery since we rent. Our lease runs out in June (great timing!). We won't know if we're re-signing until we get new orders in the next few months. Even though it would be a royal pain, I'm hoping we get orders out of Louisiana.

~All AL'ers welcome~
I am, because I am a serious control freak and I cant handle the unknown. I had nightmares about my upcoming wedding day not because I was nervous, but because I was worried things wouldnt go according to plan.
I feel the same way about this.. I need to know everything and be prepared and have everything bought, etc. The idea of going shopping with a little baby to get gender specific things I dont have already like bedding, clothing etc freaks me out.
Oh yeah we will be! I don't think I could make it that long not knowing!
