DS is now wetting through the night :(

DS just turned 3 months old and up until now he was able to wear a diaper through the night. I would change it when we woke up for our 2nd nursing, which was about 9 or 10 hours in the diaper. The last 3 nights have been a fail. On Wednesday, my husband put a Pamper Swaddler on him....so, I thought the leakage and big poo blow out in the morning was because of that. Then on Thursday, DS fell asleep in a small BG AIO, so I didn't change him out of that for the night....we had never used that overnight, so I thought that is why he leaked through the pjs and sheet. Then last night, I put him in a BG Elemental, which always worked really good through the night.....and he soaked right throught that, his pjs, and the sheet again!!! 

I just got AFFFs in the mail yesterday, so I think I'm gonna try those out tonight. I have never used any of the diapers that everyone talks about for their overnight successes, so I'm not sure what I'll pair the AFFF with yet. I only have pockets and AIO diapers. I have never used fitted, covers, or wool.  If anyone has any suggestions they wanna share - thanks!!!

Try a pocket with a MF insert on top of AFFF insert.  We use a BG 3.0 with MF and hemp at night and it works great.

I will say neither the BG AIOs or Elementals would have held up overnight for my DD either. They just aren't absorbent enough. 

I use AFFF in our pockets at night with good luck. I use either 2 AFFFs or one AFFF with a hemp doubler. Her butt is fluffy but it holds up. Good luck!

Ditto PP. The BG AIOs would have never held up for us. She soaks through those is like 2 hours.  I would put a tri-folded AFFF in a BG with the large MF insert.  That works for DD for 12 hours.
